Serious Potty Time!

Ryan came home with an Elmo potty time book. So i've decided we're going to try and start getting serious about this potty time. No playin around anymore! We're going to put our potty time chart up, and starting sitting on the potty more, and reading his book. We'll see where that gets us. I'd like to have him half out of diapers by the time baby #2 comes.

7/28/06-7/28/09

WOW! Three years ago, Ryan and I said "I DO". Three years of marriage, almost 2 babies later, and we're still living in Eureka MT. Never thought i'd been a mother of 2, and staying at home. I look back to when we got married. I was so happy on that day, it makes me want to do it all over again. Had the most beautiful wedding. Had a blast celebrating. Came to Montana for our "Honeymoon". Spent a week in glacier, and then spent a week in Eureka in a cabin, while Ryan had to work a week at the port. Then Ryan took off for training til December. While i finished nursing school. Then we moved to Eureka in December, so excited for our new lives as husband and wife. Took my nursing boards, and got a job right away, and Ryan was working like crazy at the port. Then little Braven started growing inside me, and changed our lives forever for the best. So glad our marriage brought us this beautiful, healthy, and perfect little boy. And now 2 years later, we're having another boy, hopefully perfect and healthy like Braven. Braven has changed our marriage. He has made us realize that life isn't all about working all the time and making money. We do things with Braven that we'd never do as a married couple without children, not enjoying life. I hope to have many more year of marriage with Ryan. I feel so blessed to have him as my husband, to have this marriage, and to have these 2 baby BOYS!

Afternoon out in the garage with daddy

After naptime yesterday, Braven went out to the garage to help daddy work on his pickup. It was rather hot, not sure if it reached 100, but close to it. Today is also another hot day. Braven enjoyed himself. Playing with tools, fixing his 4-wheeler, and handing things to daddy. And yes, baby came out to the garage with us too.

Bug Bites and Babies

I noticed last week that Braven had a bug bite on his ankle. I decided to take him to have a nurse look at it, and the PA was kind enough to look at it, and he thought it was a spider bite. It was very swollen and red, i was rather concerned about it. I got topical benadryl and it cleared up alot, although it is still there. On another note, we went to a rummage sale today, and Braven bought a baby doll. He loves the baby doll at Grandma Cindy's house, so i couldn't resist buying it. And i know once he got his hands on it, he won't be letting go. So we continued to go to a few other sales around town, and the baby had to come with us. He has not let baby down or out've his site yet. They are now both sleeping in the crib. That baby did come to the lake with us, but we managed to keep the baby in the car. So i realized even though i'm not having any girls, i still get to do girl things for now. Ryan doesn't like the idea of the baby going out in public, but i think its rather cute.

Family day at the lake

We decided after naptime today that we would take Braven to the lake. The weather was close t0 90, and tomorrow its suppose to be in the 100's. HOT! We had so much fun, Braven loves the water, and it was actually pretty warm, and the boys went swimming. I didn't go all the way in, just sat close to shore in the water. We got Braven used to his life jacket, since its been a year since he last wore it. It was a great day.

Tis the season for Corn-on-the-Cob

Ryan made a great BBQ rib dinner the other night. I requested corn on the cob, seems i love it. I guess Braven has the same love i do. He mostly ate the corn, and watned to dig into the ribs, but i thought that would be alittle too messy for my liking.

Fish Fry

As many of you may already know, my parents were blessed with the chance to vacation for a week in Alaska. My parents brought fish back, and we had a fish fry. I think we had about 15 people here. It was my first time entertaining, thank God I had the help of my parents. Well, actually they did everything, i just hosted it at my house. The fish was good. Everyone enjoyed that, and we had some bear sausage too, and everyone seemed to have enjoyed that as well. My dad enjoyed sharing his fishing stories with the guys at the party. It was a great time.

20 Weeks

This pregnancy, like my first, is moving right along. I'm feeling good, and enjoying it. I'm thinking i might be having a big boy this time. I go for my check up tomorrow, so i'm excited to see the changes, and see what they say about the ultrasound and the due dates. Its hard to believe its already July 1st, soon it will be delivery day! I'm not too nervous about going from one to two babies, but as the time goes by, i'm sure i'll start getting nervous.

Glacier National Park

Ryan's grandparents visited us this last weekend. We took them through part of the park. The weather was beautiful, and they really enjoyed the mountains. The kids were able to play in the snow, there sure was lots of it. Even Great-Grandpa got in the snow. We enjoyed a nice lunch together at a lodge in Glacier, and picked up Burger King on the way home. That was also fun, we all ate that in the car on the way home. We were able to see some mountain goats. Everyone enjoyed that.
