The boys get hair cuts

Last night was hair cut night. I started about 1 year ago, cutting Ryans hair. Except when there is something very important or special, then he goes and gets it cut. I'm not that good, but i'm FREE! Braven was due for a hair cut as well, so this was my first time cutting his hair, but his second hair cut. His first hair cut was in May for Jenna's wedding. He did very well, and even held down his ear for me. He saw me doing that to Ryan. He's such alittle ham. Hard to belive in 4 short months we're going to have a 2 year old and a 1 month old! Yikes!

CBP Officer

Braven enjoys getting dressed up in some of Ryan's work stuff. Grandpa made this and brought it when they came last friday. Of course we loved it. We'll see if Braven will follow in their footsteps.

Lessons taught by DADDY!

Today Ryan taught Braven how to shave. He was so proud of himself. He even got some after shave too! Then last weekend Ryan taught Braven how to wash his hands after working out in the garage. He thought he was pretty cool doing that too. Its so cute how he wants to do everything that we do. Hopefully he doesn't wake up in the morning with a rash on his face.

Serious Potty Time!

Ryan came home with an Elmo potty time book. So i've decided we're going to try and start getting serious about this potty time. No playin around anymore! We're going to put our potty time chart up, and starting sitting on the potty more, and reading his book. We'll see where that gets us. I'd like to have him half out of diapers by the time baby #2 comes.

7/28/06-7/28/09

WOW! Three years ago, Ryan and I said "I DO". Three years of marriage, almost 2 babies later, and we're still living in Eureka MT. Never thought i'd been a mother of 2, and staying at home. I look back to when we got married. I was so happy on that day, it makes me want to do it all over again. Had the most beautiful wedding. Had a blast celebrating. Came to Montana for our "Honeymoon". Spent a week in glacier, and then spent a week in Eureka in a cabin, while Ryan had to work a week at the port. Then Ryan took off for training til December. While i finished nursing school. Then we moved to Eureka in December, so excited for our new lives as husband and wife. Took my nursing boards, and got a job right away, and Ryan was working like crazy at the port. Then little Braven started growing inside me, and changed our lives forever for the best. So glad our marriage brought us this beautiful, healthy, and perfect little boy. And now 2 years later, we're having another boy, hopefully perfect and healthy like Braven. Braven has changed our marriage. He has made us realize that life isn't all about working all the time and making money. We do things with Braven that we'd never do as a married couple without children, not enjoying life. I hope to have many more year of marriage with Ryan. I feel so blessed to have him as my husband, to have this marriage, and to have these 2 baby BOYS!

Afternoon out in the garage with daddy

After naptime yesterday, Braven went out to the garage to help daddy work on his pickup. It was rather hot, not sure if it reached 100, but close to it. Today is also another hot day. Braven enjoyed himself. Playing with tools, fixing his 4-wheeler, and handing things to daddy. And yes, baby came out to the garage with us too.

Bug Bites and Babies

I noticed last week that Braven had a bug bite on his ankle. I decided to take him to have a nurse look at it, and the PA was kind enough to look at it, and he thought it was a spider bite. It was very swollen and red, i was rather concerned about it. I got topical benadryl and it cleared up alot, although it is still there. On another note, we went to a rummage sale today, and Braven bought a baby doll. He loves the baby doll at Grandma Cindy's house, so i couldn't resist buying it. And i know once he got his hands on it, he won't be letting go. So we continued to go to a few other sales around town, and the baby had to come with us. He has not let baby down or out've his site yet. They are now both sleeping in the crib. That baby did come to the lake with us, but we managed to keep the baby in the car. So i realized even though i'm not having any girls, i still get to do girl things for now. Ryan doesn't like the idea of the baby going out in public, but i think its rather cute.
