These are just some random pictures we've taken this week. Braven is now out've 18 month clothes, and into 24months-3t. He sure is growing like a weed. Braven had breakfast at the table the other morning, all in his "Lighting McQeen" stuff. Placemat, PJ's, and sippy cup. He's really into the cars movie. He also enjoys giving Dakota a treat at night, he knows where we keep them, but he doesn't have much of a chance to give it to Dakota, because she grabs it out've his hand. He sat right next to her while she ate her treat. The top two pictures, Braven is waving to the camera, his favoriate thing to do, WAVE BYE! Then Ryan taught him that he has pockets in some pants, so thats also the latest coolest thing. The weather has been rather hot here lately, 70's- 80's. I'm getting anxious for fall, i enjoy the crisp weather, and the beautiful colors of the leaves. Time is just passing us by way too fast!

Swimming Lessons
This summer i decided to put Braven in swimming lessons. So for the last 4 Saturdays in August we've been driving to Kalispell, about 60ish miles for swimming lessons. It seems alittle crazy to go that far for a 1/2hr lesson, but am so glad i did it. Braven has improved so much, and passed swimming lessons. It was great. Also a small class of only 3 kids and 3 parents. Hopefully we'll be able to do it again next year. They run lessons all year round. It takes place at a fitness place called the summit. The lessons are in the therapy pool, which is 92 degrees. So it was perfect. We also got 4 free admissions into the swimming pools, so hopefully before November Ryan and I can take Braven swimming afew times to keep up what he's learned. Although, he loves doing somethings during bath time. Its just not the same as a pool. So after lessons today, since he passed, we went for McDonalds and he got to pick out a toy at wal-mart. Then we got home, and he was so hyper, i guess excited that he passed lessons. I'm so thankful that we were able to do these lessons. It was a great bonding time for Braven and I. And so great to see him change every week.

Grandpa Phil and Grandma Cindy
So Braven has grandparents in Montana. Ryan works with Phil. They have watched Braven a number of times, and will be watching him while i'm in the hospital in November with baby #2. Its hard to find someone that you trust with your child, and they are perfect grandparents. They have 5 grandchildren themselves, all under the age of 6. They invited us over for a picnic on Sunday. It was great. Pork Chops on the grill. And Braven got spoiled. They also had a couple over that is from Canada. They bought property and come down about twice a month from Calgary. They have a 16 month old son. So we try to get together for play dates while there are here. And the weather was actually nice on Sunday and has remained nice since. I had been dressing Braven in fall clothes because it felt like fall was around the corner. But now its warming up for awhile anyways.

The boys get hair cuts
Last night was hair cut night. I started about 1 year ago, cutting Ryans hair. Except when there is something very important or special, then he goes and gets it cut. I'm not that good, but i'm FREE! Braven was due for a hair cut as well, so this was my first time cutting his hair, but his second hair cut. His first hair cut was in May for Jenna's wedding. He did very well, and even held down his ear for me. He saw me doing that to Ryan. He's such alittle ham. Hard to belive in 4 short months we're going to have a 2 year old and a 1 month old! Yikes!

Lessons taught by DADDY!
Today Ryan taught Braven how to shave. He was so proud of himself. He even got some after shave too! Then last weekend Ryan taught Braven how to wash his hands after working out in the garage. He thought he was pretty cool doing that too. Its so cute how he wants to do everything that we do. Hopefully he doesn't wake up in the morning with a rash on his face.
